Annual Black Hills Prayer Gathering

The Annual Black Hills Prayer Gathering will be held this year at Sioux Park off of Canyon Lake Drive in Rapid City, SD, beginning at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011. Everyone is invited.

After the prayer ceremony, a potluck lunch will be held in the Coffee Room of St. Isaac Jogues Church, next door to the Mother Butler Center, 221 Knollwood Drive. Donations are welcome.

A meeting of Defenders of the Black Hills will convene following the lunch. Agenda items include: uranium update, Keystone XL Pipeline update, Otter Creek Proposed Mining, Okawita Paha National Park in the Black Hills, and other issues.

Congratulations to Defenders of the Black Hills going into their tenth year of volunteering!
