Margaret B. Black Cat

KYLE -Margaret B. Black Cat, 59, died April 28 at St. John's Hospice, Denver, Colo. of natural causes.

She is survived by a son Persian Dubray, Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter Melanie Dubray of Kyle; step father and mother Guy and Mary White Thunder, Kyle; a sister Melanie Dubray, Kyle; brothers George White Thunder, Vernell White Thunder and Anthony White Thunder all of Kyle and special friend Ricky Knupt, Denver, Colo. and three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

A one night wake was Wednesday, May 2 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall at Kyle.

Funeral service is on Thursday, May 3 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall with Rev. Robb Kroll officiating.
Interment will be at St. Stephen's Catholic Cemetery, Kyle.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of arrangements.

Basil Broken Rope Jr.

MARTIN - Basil J. Broken Rope, Jr., 10 weeks old infant, died Saturday, April 28 at Martin.

He is survived by his parents Basel and Stephanie Broken Rope Sr. of Martin, paternal grandparents Belnita Little Bear, Wounded Knee and Malcolm Lone Hill of Sharps Corner; maternal grandmother Janice Red Willow, Hisle.

A two night wake began on Tuesday, May 1 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church at Kyle.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 3 at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church.Officiating to be determined
Internment will be at St. Barnabas Episcopal Cemetery, Kyle. Sioux Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Ralph C. Bear Killer Sr.

ALLEN - Ralph C. Bear Killer Sr., 77, died at Bennett County Health Care Center on Saturday, April 28 of natural causes.

He was veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include sons Ralph Bear Killer, Jr. of Allen and Robert Bear Killer, Kyle; daughters Delores Bear Killer, Kyle; Doris Grass of Gordon, Neb; Donna Bear Killer-Hollis, Denton, Texas and 14 grandchildren and 34 great grand children.

A one night wake begin Thursday, May 3 at the Inestimable Gift Episcopal Church, Allen. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Inestimable Gift Episcopal Church.
Officiating will be Rev. Daniel Makes Good and Rev. Rhoda Mesteth. Internment will be at the Inestimable Gift Episcopal Cemetery at Allen. Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Herman E. Tuttle Sr.

PORCUPINE -Herman E. Tuttle, Sr., 72, died at the Rapid City Regional Hospital on April 27 of natural causes.

Survivors include sons Duane Tuttle, Thomas Tuttle and Wayne Tuttle of Rapid City; Warren Tuttle and Justin Tuttle of Sioux Falls; daughters Carol Tuttle and Cheryl Tuttle of Sioux Falls; sisters Lillian Ramsey, San Diego, Calif.; Cecelia Montgomery, Kyle, and 27 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

A two night wake began May 1, at Christ The King Catholic Hall, Porcupine. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 3 at Christ The King Catholic Hall. Officiating will be Rev. Chris Collins with interment St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery, Porcupine. Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Levi White Bull

LINCOLN, Neb. - Levi White Bull, 53, died April 24 at Lincoln, Neb.

Survivors include sons Brandon Denny of Lincoln, Neb.; daughters Darby Blinston of Lincoln, Neb. and five grandchildren.

One night wake was April 30 at the Native American Church in Porcupine. Funeral services were Tuesday, May 1 at The Native American Church in Porcupine. Officiating was Rev. Emerson Spider, Jr. Interment was at the Native American Church Cemetery, Porcupine.

Michella Martina Crow

PORCUPINE - Michella Martina Crow, stillborn infant, died and she is survived by her parents Tedd and Shonda Crow, Sr. of Porcupine; brother Tedd Crow, Jr., Porcupine; maternal grandparents William and Katherine Munoz, Atlusa, Okla.

A one night wake was Friday, April 27 at the Native Voice Ministries Church at Wolf Creek. Funeral services were April 28 at The Native Voice Ministries Church. Officiating was the Rev. Charity Hill with burial at the Crow Family Cemetery, Porcupine. Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of arrangements.

Bernadette F. Bordeaux

PINE RIDGE - Bernadette F. Bordeaux, 67, Pine Ridge, died Tuesday, April 24, at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Bernadette F. Bordeaux was born Aug. 24, 1939 at Pine Ridge to Roland "Scope" and Rebecca (Cuny) Goings.

She graduated from Pine Ridge High School and married Antoine Bordeaux. At the time of Atoine's death in 1979 they had celebrated 30 years of marriage together. They also had a special blessing to their marriage from the Pope. She worked for 27 years as a cook for the Cohen Home in Pine Ridge.

She is survived by four sons, Sylvester Bordeaux and Carl Bordeaux of Pine Ridge, and Wayne Bordeaux and Tony Bordeaux of Sioux Falls; five daughters, Sally Goings, Rochelle Bordeaux and Gaylene Bordeaux of Pine Ridge, Carleen Bordeaux of Rapid City; and Ramona Dobbins of Duluth, Minn.; her father, Roland "Scope" Goings, Pine Ridge; three brothers, Red Goings, Victor Goings and Marty Goings of Pine Ridge; three sisters, Fern Goings, Melody Talbot and Joyce Goings of Pine Ridge; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A vigil service was April 30 at at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge. Funeral services were May 1 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, with the Rev. Steve Sanford officiating.

Internment was at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, Pine Ridge. Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge was in charge of arrangements.

Orville White Eyes

EAGLE BUTTE - Orville White Eyes, 62, Eagle Butte, died Thursday, April 26 at MedCenter One in Bismarck, N.D. A wake service was held May 4, at H.V. Johnston Cultural Center in Eagle Butte.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at the center, with the Rev. Norman Blue coat and Richard Charging Eagle officiating.

Burial will be at the Eagle Butte City Cemetery. Oster Funeral Home of Mobridge is in charge of arrangements.

Chayne Condon

EAGLE BUTTE - Chayne Condon, infant, Eagle Butte, died Friday, April 20. Survivors include his parents, Ronnette Cook and Shun Condon of Eagle Butte. Wake services were April 27 at St. John's Episcopal Church, Eagle Butte.

Funeral services were Saturday, April 28, at the church, with the Rev. Marion Rectenwald and Hazel Red Bird officiating. Burial was at the Bear Creek Cemetery in Bear Creek.
